An Chiotóg 5-key Left-Handed Chanter in B

An "Chiotóg" a 5 key left-handed chanter in ebony and brass c/w wooden chanter top and trimmed in boxwood mounts.  The striped ebony has particularly stunning flashes of tan colour along the chanter which makes for a unique character. The smokey flashes are particularly beautiful around the thumb note at the back of the chanter.  A supreme instrument in appearance and tone.

Sonokeling D Chanter

A concert pitch "D" chanter in Sonokeling rosewood, brass, trimmed with boxwood mounts and fitted with a C-key.  This is the first of two chanters which acknowledges the sound of my youth in Belfast.  As I focus my creative energies on flat pitch pipes the last of this work in "D" heralds a departure from those heady days of smoked filled bars and pints of Guinness.  This chanter is among and above the best available.  Robust, energetic yet easy to play.  A real session pleaser.

Indian Rosewood D Chanter

A concert pitch "D" chanter in Indian rosewood, brass and trimmed with boxwood mounts.  This simple "practice" chanter is reminiscent of the Leo Rowsome chanter presented to me by my late dear friend and mentor, Seán McAloon, which opened my mind to the possibilities within traditional music and uilleann pipes in particular.  It is an "unfussy" "uncluttered" instrument pure and sweet in tone.
